For several years, Eddie Franklin dreamed of owning his own dog supply store. He has been an avid hunter since he was a small boy and as he grew older it seemed
harder and harder for him to find just the right kind of hunting gear.
In the fall of 2009, Eddie lost his job and thought that then would be a great opportunity to start a Hound Supply business. He and I, his partner, Denise looked for just the right location to open our store and found a building along South Hwy. 185 in Sullivan, MO. The building needed a lot of work before it would be able to be used, so in October 2009, we began refurbishing the building and on Nov. 19th., 2009 we opened Franklin's Hound & Hunting Supplies with an inventory of less than $2,000.00.
From the first day of business, people from all over have stopped by either to purchase some hunting supplies, have a piece of equipment worked on or just to shoot the breeze with Eddie, telling hunting stories one after another.
Not only does the store carry every kind of Coon Hunting supplies, because of it's location, it carries other hunting supplies along with trapping and fishing
supplies.
At Franklin's Hound & Hunting Supplies, our goal is to have what you need when you want it. We welcome any and all suggestions for our family oriented business
and hope to serve you for many years.
